Return on Investment of Sponsorships in Cycling


We received a request via Twitter for sources or information about the return on investment (ROI) of sponsorships in professional cycling and data on how much sponsors are spending, forms of advertising, etc.

This is the Sponsorship Report on Pro Cycling for 2013, an official report that includes data on how much was spent by sponsors and the exposure they received. This report states that $5.40 were returned for every $1 spent by cycling sponsors, and that there was 68,000 hours of TV broadcast time in 2012 globally.
